Our Dental Payment Plan

Who are our plans for?

Our plans are designed for patients who wish to attend the practice on a regular basis and have peace of mind that their preventive and maintenance dental care is covered through a monthly subscription. We have kept it simple and offer 2 levels for adults, with the difference being the number of hygiene visits included, and 3 levels for children and young adults, based on their age.

What do our plans include?

Adult Plan Level 1 is £12.50 per month and covers:

  • two dental health examinations per year
  • two hygiene appointments including scale and polish and periodontal advice as required
  • x-rays as required
  • diet and oral hygiene advice
  • membership card with 24 hour helpline numbers for dental emergencies at home or abroad
  • worldwide Supplementary Insurance (see overleaf).

Adult Plan Level 2 is £18.00 per month and covers:

  • two dental health examinations per year
  • four hygiene appointments including scale and polish and periodontal advice as required
  • x-rays as required
  • diet and oral hygiene advice
  • 10% discount on treatment fees (excluding orthodontic treatment and dental implants)
  • membership card with 24 hour helpline numbers for dental emergencies at home or abroad
  • worldwide Supplementary Insurance (see overleaf).

Child Plan Level 1 is for children up to 5 years old and costs £4.40 per month. It covers:

  • dental health examinations
  • diet & oral hygiene advice
  • x-rays as required
  • fluoride applications
  • fissure sealants
  • orthodontic assessments
  • 30% discount on treatment fees (excluding orthodontic treatment)
  • membership card with 24 hour helpline numbers for dental emergencies at home or abroad
  • worldwide Supplementary Insurance (see overleaf).

Child Plan Level 2 is for children 6 to 11 years old and costs £7.60 per month.

The cover is the same although it may include an extra hygiene appointment every year if needed

Child Plan Level 3 is for children 12 to 18 years old and costs £9.90 per month.

The cover is the same although it may include two extra hygiene appointments every year if needed

How do you join our plan?

All you have to do is complete a registration form and Direct Debit mandate.
In addition to your first monthly payment, a one-off registration fee of £10 per person will be charged and will be included in your first Direct Debit payment.
If you choose to leave the plan for any reason you can do so by simply giving us one month's notice.

What happens in an emergency?

You will have access to a 24 hour, 365 day worldwide dental emergency helpline which will endeavour to find an English speaking dentist wherever you are in the world.

What does the supplementary insurance cover?

Your Supplementary Insurance provides:

1. cover for:

  • up to £10,000 worth of treatment following dental injury
  • temporary emergency treatment whilst away from home in the UK or abroad (up to the limits specified)
  • the call-out fee charged by a dentist opening their surgery to treat you in an emergency (up to the limits specified)

2. hospital cash benefit if under the care of an oral/ maxillofacial surgeon

3. cash benefit if diagnosed with oral cancer

4. 24 hour access to a worldwide emergency helpline

The Supplementary Insurance is designed to cover the cost of temporary emergency treatment whilst you are away from home and therefore excludes the cost of emergency treatment carried out by your own dentist, a rota dentist, or any other dentist within a 15 mile radius of your practice. However, call-out fees charged by any dentist to open their surgery (including your own dentist) are recoverable up to policy limits.

In the event of a dental injury, treatment carried out by any dentist (including your own dentist) is covered up to policy limits.
